How We Test

Phone cases, measuring tools and a controlled testing bench

Every Case & Kit review follows a repeatable process built around real use.

Protection

We inspect corner reinforcement, camera and screen clearance, material thickness, edge flex and manufacturer drop-test claims. Where practical, we perform controlled drops using a non-primary test device.

Everyday use

Cases are carried in pockets and bags, used one-handed, mounted in vehicles and paired with charging accessories. We pay close attention to grip, button response, lint, fingerprints and how easily the phone can be removed.

Magnetic and charging tests

Compatible products are tested with magnetic chargers, wallets and mounts. We check alignment, holding force, heat and charging consistency.

Scoring

Our overall rating considers protection, usability, materials, design and value. Scores are updated when long-term use changes our findings or a new version materially changes the product.
